Andy Murray Reveal Emotional Motivation Behind Humanitarian Gesture.

The Tennis world, from the start, has taken the Ukraine situation seriously and looks for different ways to help the suffering people. Andy Murray has joined hands with UNICEF-UK to help unfortunate children out there in the war situation.

WTA, ATP, and all the Grand slams have ensured donations of about $100,000 to Ukraine. Retired Ukraine international Sergiy Stakhovsky himself has joined the Ukrainian reserve forces. While talking to the Tennis paradise podcast, Andy Murray gave updates on his plans and also the “terrible” situation in Ukraine.

Former world no. 1 Andy Murray had already announced his collaboration with UNICEF-UK to help the children in Ukraine. They have targeted the betterment of the education system in the war-affected country. Murray pledged to give away all the winning amounts of the 2022 season to the UNICEF-UK initiative.

He also urged many other people and followers to make donations. Andy put forward some disturbing number of war-affected children and emphasized the importance of help at the time of need.

Adding to his vision, he said in the Tennis Paradise podcast, “I have kids of my own and I can’t imagine what it must be like to be in that situation so, hopefully, I can win lots of tennis matches this year and help as many kids as possible in what is a terrible terrible situation.”

Andy Murray earlier explained the conditions and expressed his sympathy for the people in the difficult situation. He said, “Yeah I kind of felt, that’s the best I can do just now to try and raise as much money I can to try and help children in a brutal situation. You can see the images and the footages on the TV and on social media and stuff.”
