Published

on

Lewis Hamilton is breaking more and more of Michael Schumacher’s records with each passing season, including the ones for most wins and poles in F1 history. While his records may have looked unassailable at that time, a humble Michael foresaw it coming.

However, there are still a few notable ones left where Schumacher still sits atop the throne…

MOST WINS IN A SINGLE SEASON (13)

Michael Schumacher sits at the top with Vettel at 13 wins, but with 23 races next season Lewis Hamilton will look to break it.

PODIUM STANDS IN EVERY RACE OF A SEASON (2002)

Michael Schumacher is also the only driver to stand on the podium in each and every race of a season (2002). In a 17 race season, he had 11 wins, 6 second places and a third place finish in the 2002 season.

With an increase in talented drivers these days, Lewis Hamilton has broken even more impossible records than this , so fan should expect better things from him.

KING OF FASTEST LAPS

Michael Schumacher holds the record for the fastest laps with 77 while Lewis Hamilton is right behind him at 58, so fans should expect Lewis to break this record especially with the recent modifications to his engine.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES (7)

Lewis Hamilton has 7 championship titles, joint with Schumacher, as the current season’s end draws nearer, Lewis Hamilton can still take this record for himself, but if it eludes him this season, there is a very high chance that he will go all out next season and eventually make this record his.
