“Kill Hill” – Damon Hill Goes on Enraged Twitter Rant Protecting Lewis Hamilton.

Damon Hill has been an enormous supporter of Lewis Hamilton this season. After the sad ending to Hamilton’s championship run in Abu Dhabi, Hill joined in on a debate around Masi’s role in F1. However, being on the receiving end of hate for reactions to the debate was the final straw.

Hill’s Twitter has been extremely active. After sharing his debate with SkySports, Hill tweeted, “People are angry. They love being angry. So they are happy. All the people who say they have lost faith in F1, they’ll be back. Because they love to be angry. F1 makes people happy because they get angry. It’s a great paradox.”

Hill even reacted to a fan’s comment on the need for “justice,” in F1. “There was no crime. There was a massive mess. We’ll never know what should have happened. Maybe Lewis would have won. Maybe not. But we can never know for sure. Totally unsatisfactory. But there is nothing that can change the result.”

The rage culminated with a poll. Hill asked his audience to take a breather from the unchangeable events that took place a month ago. “My point is this; there is nothing that will change the result. Enormously damaging for F1 and for Lewis. It’s done. We cannot turn the clock back. And it wasn’t my fault!” He then asked his fans to vote on whether they had grievances.
