Lewis Hamilton’s Luxurious Car Collection.
As Hamilton, 36, races towards a record eighth Formula One title, he is already in pole position in the earnings stakes as the UK’s richest-ever sportsman. Even after signing what is believed to be a slightly less-lucrative one-year deal to race for Mercedes for another season, he is still well ahead of the pack. His previous deal over three years was worth £40 million a year with bonuses per season.
Hamilton has certainly had no problems amassing one of the most exclusive sports cars collections in the world. The F1 driver has an incredible fleet of million dollar cars, all of which have their own unique details.
1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
He decided to purchase the Ford after seeing Steve McQueen handle the car in the popular movie, Bullitt. He was less than impressed with the car after acquiring it, though. Known for being a harsh critic when it comes to cars, this is what Hamilton had to say about the Mustang “…Beautiful car, but a heap of junk. The company did a good job on the paint job, but the rest of the car just isn’t very good, so I never drive it.” Ouch
Mercedes Benz Maybach S600
There are days when the racecar driver steps away from the steering wheel and wants to be chauffeured around; what better car to do that in than the Maybach S600? The luxury sedan is loaded to the hilt with comfort features like massage seats, a premium sound system and a range-topping entertainment system.
Pagani Zonda 760LH
Lewis Hamilton has a number of supercars locked up in his garage but the Pagani Zonda 760LH is most certainly one of the most unique. The car was commissioned as a one-off version for Hamilton himself—hence the initials LH—and was designed in purple both for the exterior and the interior.
1966 Shelby Cobra 427
The AC Cobra, which was marketed as the Shelby Cobra in the United States, was an Anglo-American sports car with a Ford V8 engine. The car was available in both the UK and the US and was, and still is extremely popular. In fact, the car is a firm favorite with petrolheads around the world, and if found in the right condition it can be worth more than just a few dollars. Yes, Hamilton’s, in particular, is said to be worth up to a cool $1.5 million dollars, but worth every penny as Hamilton often refers to it as one of his favorites.
Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6X6
The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 was created by legendary car makers, Mercedes-Benz, and was originally inspired by the six-wheeled Mercedes Geländewagen which was developed for the Australian Army in 2007. Upon its release, the car was the largest street-legal off-road vehicle in the world as well as one of the most expensive.
This stunning Ferrari is one of the most expensive rides in the world thus making it one of the most prestigious rides in the garage of Lewis Hamilton. The car itself has a value larger than any car hiding out in Floyd’s garage. That includes his Ferraris and Bugattis.
