Patrick Mahomes Intense Reaction After Super Bowl 56.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is done with sitting around. After seeing the Los Angeles Rams defeat Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl 56, the former NFL MVP and Super Bowl champion decided that it’s time to get down to work and prepare for the 2022 NFL season.

There’s really nothing that motivates competitive people more than seeing others achieve something they believe should have been theirs.

Mahomes and the Chiefs struck out in the 2022 NFL Playoffs when they lost to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs were so close to making the Super Bowl for the third year in a row, but it was just the Bengals’ time to rule the conference.

Mahomes wasn’t the only Kansas City Chief chirping after the Super Bowl, as defensive end Chris Jones virtually guaranteed that his team would be representing the AFC next season.

While Jones and Mahomes made the Pro Bowl this past season, playing in a meaningless Las Vegas exhibition clearly isn’t their ultimate goal.

Best believe the road to the Super Bowl will still involve Arrowhead Stadium next season.
